Overview

Nara Prefecture’s official guide to crafts designated by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. Nara has three: Takayama tea whisks (1975), Nara brushes (1977) and Nara ink (2018), with their regions, history and designation years — primary information on the prefecture’s flagship local crafts.
